Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to get involved with your library and community. Even an hour a week can help. Library volunteers must be able to commit to a regular weekly or monthly schedule – we will be depending on you! Jobs may include shelving materials, keeping shelves in order, cleaning DVDs and audiobooks, or working on special projects as needed. We might even find a place for your special talent or expertise.

To volunteer:

Adults, ages 18 & older, should fill out the adult volunteer application (online or in the library) and return it to Information Desk.

Teen volunteers:

Teens, ages 12-17, wishing or needing volunteer credits should fill out the teen volunteer application (online or in-person) and return it to the Information Desk.

Friends of the Library are Volunteers, too!

To volunteer as a Friend, simply fill out the membership form online or in the Friends of the Library brochure or join us at one of our monthly meetings. Past Friends events have been the annual book sale, pancake breakfast, the Holiday Jumble, among others.

Please note: the library cannot accommodate court-ordered community service volunteer requests.
