On Thursday, December 31, the library will close at 4PM.
The library will also be closed on Friday, January 1, 2027.
Emergency Closure Policy
- In order to fulfill its mission of public service, the Township Library of Lower Southampton will make every reasonable effort to be open to the public for its scheduled days and hours, while also guarding the safety of its staff and patrons. There are times when the library may not be able to offer normal hours of operation due to a building condition, inclement weather, loss of power, or other problem.
- If a Library Staff Member observes or is informed of such a condition, they will notify the Library Director or their designee.
- The Library Director or their designee will evaluate the situation and make a prudent decision to remain open, wait and reevaluate, or initiate a temporary closure.
- A “temporary closure” is defined as any unscheduled closure.
