Are you tired of all the monthly streaming service bills and charges?  How about trying a streaming service that comes FREE with your library card?

We are very excited to offer our patrons access to Kanopy, a video streaming service you can access with your library card.  With Kanopy, each library card earns 25 tickets per month, which then can be used to “rent” streaming videos.  The number of tickets required for videos varies: cinematic movies often require 3 tickets, while a season of a TV show might cost 5 tickets. You can access Kanopy on a computer, tablet, smartphone, roku or Fire device, or on your smart TV.

Kanopy has thousands of movies, documentaries, TV shows, and the Great Courses.  There is also a section called Kanopy Kids, with a terrific selection of kids’ shows and read-aloud books.  All material in Kanopy Kids is available to patrons without worrying about tickets.  In addition, parents can set Kanopy so that their kids can only explore the kids’ zone.
