Summer is here! Spread your wings, open your mind, and let the ADVENTURE BEGIN!
At the Township Library of Lower Southampton, our summer adventures are open to kids from birth to age 100 and more! Visit us at the library to explore the incredible events we have lined up to make your summer trek a magical one. Kids can complete their reading challenge logs and earn chances to win one of our fantastic raffle baskets. We also have a GRAND PRIZE this year: a generous gift certificate to Feasterville’s own Guy’s Bicycles! Grown-up “kids” are welcome to join the fun too! Adult prizes this year include passes to Longwood Gardens, a Kindle Paperwhite, and more.
Join us on Saturday June 15 to kick off your summer with a teen-led fitness adventure in the morning. Come back for a hip shimmying dance adventure in the afternoon with the Community Bollywood Dance Project.
Kids continue their summer, with a journey into the world of music and dance with Mr. Boom Boom, and Miss Dayle! Travel to the jungle to rescue an ancient artifact with Science Heroes! Discover your silly side with our Library After Dark movie events, and Andrew’s Big Show! Learn to code your online world with Black Rocket Creation Camp! Try a new fitness activity with Action Karate’s visits to the library! And our regular events will continue through the summer, including Story hours, Lego Club, Pokemon Club, and the Nintendo Switch Club.
Adults can start their health adventure with our popular chair yoga classes on Tuesdays, with additional Fridays during the summer. Attend in person or online! Create a mini-masterpiece from home during an online art class.
