We had a wonderful time on Friday, October 18 as the library’s friends, supporters, and representatives of the community gathered to dedicate the John William Pawling Community Room. We were joined by Mrs. Marilyn Silberfein Pawling, and her family and friends, as well as our library Board of Trustees, many staff members, members of the Friends of the Library and the Feasterville Rotary, as well as State Representative Joe Hogan and staff from the office U.S. Representative Brian Fitzpatrick.
Our community room is the home to so many great events that the library offers for the community: from chair yoga to Lego club to movie matinees, this room is the place to be at the library. The next time you visit the library or have the chance to attend a program in this room, please stop in and check out the room’s updated look, the new seating, and the new audio-video equipment, and help us honor the generosity of Mr. Pawling who made it possible.
Thanks to everyone who joined us on Friday! It’s always great to spend time with old friends and meet new people at the library!
