Join us on Monday mornings for a Tai Chi class with instructor Matt Chrobocinski. No experience necessary for this moving meditative practice, which incorporates slow, low-impact standing exercises with the breath. This registration is for the summer series, which runs on the following dates: 

• June 15
• June 22
• June 29 
• July 6
• July 13

The class is limited to 20 students per series for in-person due to space limitations; however, you can sign up to attend online if registration is full for the in-person class. 

Donations to supplement the library programming budget are appreciated. However, as always, these donations are not mandatory. The class is still meant to be accessible to ALL even those who cannot afford to donate. If you are able and willing to donate any amount, we would appreciate it. Donations can be in the form of cash or check and mailed or dropped off at:

Many people love to read historical fiction.  This presentation is historical reality.  Myths, legends and lore have become a significant part of American history of the Revolutionary War and the colonial era.

Among others, historical reality seeks to answer: “What is the true story of “Yankee Doodle?” … “Did George Washington honestly have wooden teeth?” … “Where did Paul Revere actually ride?” …  “What really happened on the Fourth of July?” … “What is the true story of the Liberty Bell?” … “Was there really a person named Molly Pitcher?”

The history of the American Revolution and the colonial era are full of lore, myths, half-truths and just plain inaccuracies that have become a part of American history. 

Every day stories are repeated in schools, museums, and television programs because they are catchy, humorous or entertaining; but we are going to separate fact from fiction.

This program focuses on these mysterious, misrepresented and often imagined incidents and events.  You will learn the truth about the Revolutionary War and colonial myths, stories and events that they never taught you in high school.

Foster a love of curiosity and reading in your child every week with books, songs, and rhymes for the whole family.

Join the growing trend making yoga accessible for all. Take a moment to be present in your day by learning to center yourself with breathing. Then do some gentle stretching - all supported by sitting on a chair and holding onto a chair from the comfort of your own home. 

You must complete a liability waiver once per calendar year to participate in the chair yoga class. You can do this online (with a typed e-signature) or in-person (with a written signature) at the library before you can attend class. The online waiver form can be found at:

Registration required to receive the link to this online program. This is a series registration that cover the winter and spring sessions. You only need to register once and you don't need to cancel if you can't make any particular class during the sessions. There is so much space in the online class, that we will never fill all of the spaces and canceling will cancel you for the whole series, so please don't worry about that if you are registered for the online class.
